Neuroscience Sales Specialist

We apologize for any confusion. We have partnered with a pharmaceutical company dedicated to the development and commercialization of novel products focused on treating CNS Disorders. Expanding and we are looking to hire a Full Time Neuroscience Sales Specialist. The sales representative will be responsible for professionally promoting and educating healthcare professionals about Horizant® with the goal of achieving sales growth in the respective territory.

Core Job Responsibilities - Pre-call plan to meet HCP needs. Leverage data and customer knowledge to develop and maintain strong working relationships with the neurology and pain community, providers and decisions makers. - Ability to leverage neurology/pain product and disease state knowledge into advanced sales messaging that challenges the physician’s mindset. - Ensure that all administrative tasks are completed promptly and accurately. - Understands and complies with all applicable policies, procedures and guidelines. - Ability to learn, understand and communicate complex information.

- BS/BA degree from a 4 yr. accredited college or university required. - Minimum of 5-7 years pharmaceutical sales experience required, with 2-3 years in Neurology/Movement Disorder or Pain calling on specialists. - Experience promoting CNS and previous launch experience preferred. - Possess core knowledge in the area of movement disorder or CNS and have experience and demonstrated success calling on the physicians who are specialists in Neurology/Pain/Sleep Disorders. - Documented sales success in recent years with national/and or regional rankings. - Must possess current knowledge of pertinent health care industry trends, sales trends, market dynamics, competitors, applicable laws and regulations, health care payer environment, and analyze each of these factors in the development of actionable business plans. - Ability and aptitude to use various types of databases and computer software. - Demonstrate a winning attitude, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work as part of a team. - Possess a valid driver’s license, daily business travel by air or car is required.
